...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN TALLADEGA...CALHOUN
AND CLEBURNE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 AM CDT...

At 542 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Alexandria, or near Jacksonville, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Anniston, Oxford, Talladega, Jacksonville, Piedmont, Heflin, West
End-Cobb Town, Cobb Town, Fort McClellan, Saks, Lincoln, Weaver,
Riverside, Munford, Ohatchee, Hobson City, Fruithurst, Edwardsville,
Talladega Superspeedway, and Alexandria.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for northeastern
Alabama.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
central and east central Alabama.
