...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WALKER...SOUTHWESTERN
BLOUNT AND NORTH CENTRAL JEFFERSON COUNTIES THROUGH 445 AM CDT...

At 407 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cordova, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jasper, Gardendale, Sumiton, Cordova, Dora, Warrior, Kimberly,
Morris, Parrish, Oakman, Sipsey, Rocky Hollow, Burnwell, Beloit,
Arkadelphia, Lynns Park, Sayre, Empire, Smoke Rise, and Powellville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for central
Alabama.
