At 303 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northwest of Samantha, or 14 miles northeast of Gordo, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Berry, Boley Springs, Bankhead Lock And Dam, Samantha, Binion Creek Landing, Stone Wall, Whitson, Wiley, Moores Bridge, Windham Springs, New Lexington, and Lake Tuscaloosa.
