.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...
Scattered rain showers and storms should continue through Wednesday
morning for lower elevations. Light snow is expected for areas above
9 thousand feet through Wednesday morning. Relative humidities drop
between 15-20 percent for the foothills and plains. Fire weather
conditions should remain low given recent rainfall and the ongoing
green-up period. Good to excellent smoke dispersal conditions are
possible across the region Wednesday afternoon.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...A brief
period of warmer and drier conditions will bring elevated fire
weather conditions to portions of the plains, Palmer Divide and
South Park. However, recent rains and green grasses may keep the
fire weather concerns spotty. Improving conditions will be seen
for Friday and into the weekend with isolated to scattered showers
and storms expected. Smoke dispersal conditions will be very good
to excellent Wednesday and good to very good for Friday and
Saturday.
