.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Tuesday...Moisture will increase a bit
through Tuesday, resulting in a little higher coverage of showers
and storms. Only an isolated shower or weak storm is possible yet
this evening. Temperatures will be a couple degrees above normal
with minimum humidity readings on Tuesday ranging between 18 and
28 percent in most locations, with slightly higher readings in the
foothills and mountains. Wind swill still be relatively light
outside of gusty outflow winds from isolated to scattered high
based showers and storms in the afternoon.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday night through Saturday...
Parts of South Park could drop as low as 16 percent in relative
humidity Thursday but light winds should keep fire weather
conditions low. Otherwise, scattered showers and storms are possible
each afternoon Wednesday through Friday which should lead to higher
relative humidities. This should keep fire weather conditions low in
the long term forecast. Generally, precipitation chances decrease
this weekend becoming isolated mainly for foothills to the Palmer
Divide. Smoke dispersal conditions very good to excellent will occur
across the region both Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.
