...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Cape Cod Bay...

At 1153 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Manomet Point to Sandwich,
moving east at 40 knots.

Locations impacted include...
The East End Of Cape Cod Canal, Wellfleet Harbor, Cape Cod Bay,
Barnstable Harbor, Manomet Point, and North Eastham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...briefly rough seas and
lightning strikes. Consider heading for safe harbor until these
storms pass.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
