...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN KENEDY...SOUTHEASTERN
JIM HOGG...NORTHEASTERN HIDALGO...NORTHEASTERN STARR...BROOKS AND
NORTHWESTERN WILLACY COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 AM CDT...

At 1136 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Falfurrias Junior High School, or 9 miles south of
Falfurrias, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Falfurrias, Armstrong, Agua Nueva, Encino, Rachal, Sarita, Airport
Road Addition, Pleasant Park, San Isidro, and Kenedy County Sheriffs
Office.

This includes the following highways...
 US Highway 77 between mile markers 712 and 736.
 US Highway 281 between mile markers 708 and 754.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
Deep South Texas.
