...WIDESPREAD FOG AFFECTING THE REGION...

Surface observations indicate that widespread fog, reducing
visibilities to between 2 and 5 miles, is developing and
persisting within Deep South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley at
this time. Surface observations, and TXDOT cameras, also indicate
that isolated patches of more dense fog, reducing the visibility
to less than 1 mile, are also forming.

The intensity of the fog will be monitored through the next few
hours, and a Dense Fog Advisory may need to be issued for portions
of the region if the dense fog becomes more widespread. In the
meantime, motorists are urged to reduce speed, use low beam
headlights, and avoid tailgating in any fog through the next few
hours.
