NORTHEASTERN ERIE...NIAGARA AND SOUTHWESTERN GENESEE COUNTIES THROUGH
1245 PM EDT...

At 1140 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 10 miles west of Niagara Falls, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Niagara Falls, West Seneca, North Tonawanda,
Clarence, Lockport, Lackawanna, Kenmore, Depew, Tonawanda, Amherst,
Lancaster, Williamsville, Darien Lakes State Park, Grand Island,
Elma, Newfane, Pendleton, and Marilla.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 49 and 55.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
