...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL JEFFERSON...WEST
CENTRAL LEWIS AND NORTH CENTRAL OSWEGO COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 539 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sandy Island Beach State Park, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Watertown, Sandy Island Beach State Park, Pulaski, Adams, Barnes
Corners, Adams Center, Southwick Beach State Park, Rodman, Lorraine,
Sandy Creek, Lacona, Mannsville, Ellisburg, Worth, Montario Point,
East Rodman, Bellwood, Belleville, and Smartville.

This includes Interstate 81 between exits 37 and 43.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
