...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON...LEWIS
AND OSWEGO COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 621 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Adams to 10 miles
south of Barnes Corners to near Redfield to 7 miles west of Camden.
Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Watertown, Sandy Island Beach State Park, Fort Drum, Carthage,
Lowville, Pulaski, West Carthage, Central Square, Adams, Redfield,
Herrings, Selkirk Shores State Park, Highmarket, Adams Center, Barnes
Corners, Whetstone Gulf State Park, Brewerton, Hastings, Richland,
and Constantia.

This includes Interstate 81 between exits 32 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central New York.
