Made some forecast adjustments to precipitation chances and sky cover today. ...Cool and Unsettled through the week ahead... Showers and mountain snow expected today through Wednesday across the district, and an isolated thunderstorm is possible during the afternoon hours each day. The best areas for a wetting rain will be along and south of I-90/US-212. Significant wet snow (6-14 in) is expected over area mountains. Afternoon RH values will be elevated (35-50%) with strong recoveries overnight (80-100%). Theres a brief break in precipitation potential tonight into Wednesday morning. By Wednesday afternoon another significant storm system moves into the area bringing high wetting rain chances for most of the fire district into Friday, along with mountain snowfall. The weekend forecast looks drier but still advertises a chance of showers each day into Memorial day.
