The storm system that produced the heavy rainfall and snow yesterday, has exited the state. Should be a much drier day today. Will not be totally dry however, as a weak disturbance moves in and generates isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening (mainly west and north of Billings). A stronger disturbance will work in Saturday. There is a much better chance (50-70%) of showers and thunderstorms with this system for Saturday afternoon and night. Temperatures will be slightly below seasonal averages the next two days, with highs in the lower to mid 60s today, mid to upper 60s Saturday.
