...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN CUSTER COUNTY THROUGH
200 PM MDT...

At 129 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles south of Miles City, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Miles City, Volborg, Twelve Mile Dam, Locate, Garland, Moon Creek
Ranch, Strawberry Hill Recreation Area, and Mizpah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
southeastern Montana.
