...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL FALLON...SOUTHEASTERN
CUSTER...NORTHWESTERN CARTER AND NORTHERN POWDER RIVER COUNTIES
THROUGH 245 PM MDT...

At 200 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 15 miles northeast of Miles City to 24 miles
west of Ekalaka to 8 miles west of Broadus. Movement was east at 70
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Baker, Broadus, Ekalaka, Ridgeway, Volborg, Plevna, Ismay, Locate,
Westmore, Willard, Olive, Sonnette, Medicine Rocks State Park,
Powderville, Mizpah, and Knowlton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
southeastern Montana.
