...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 2 feet.
  Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.

* WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country could be impacted by
  heavy accumulating snow. Areas of blowing snow could significantly
  reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Clearing activities over the Beartooth
  Highway will be impacted.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. If you
are going to the high country for recreation, be sure to let someone
know your plans in case you become stranded.

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations 1 to 2 feet. Winds
  gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...In Montana, Pryor/Northern Bighorn Mountains. In Wyoming,
  Northeast Bighorn Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible along
  US-14. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce
  visibility. Recreation in the high country will be impacted.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. For the latest road
conditions, call 5 1 1.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Areas of heavy wet snow occurring. Additional snow
  accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, mainly in grassy areas closer to
  the foothills.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Montana.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM MDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, may be
  slick and slushy. Visibility may drop to under a half mile at
  times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ponding of water across roads from melting
  snow and heavy rain will also make driving difficult at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for slippery and slushy roads. Slow down and use caution
while driving.
