...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LUCAS COUNTY
THROUGH 1100 PM EDT...

At 1023 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Whitehouse, or 7 miles south of Swanton. This thunderstorm was nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Half inch hail and very heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Ponding of
         water on roadways is also expected.

Locations impacted include...
Swanton, Whitehouse, and Neapolis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
