...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south Texas, including the following county,
  Webb.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1001 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    El Jaral Creek, Palito Blanco Arroyo, Carrizitos Creek,
    Espada Creek, Santa Isabel Creek, San Ygnacio Creek, Tordillo
    Creek, Dolores Creek, Indios Creek, Los, Cuervo Creek, Pinto
    Creek, Carricitos Creek, Grande, Rio, Blancas Creek, Agua
    Azul Creek, San Juanito Creek, Santo Tomas Creek, Tejones
    Creek, Cochio Creek, Lobo Creek, Cuchara Creek, Chacon Creek
    and Sombrerito Creek.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Laredo, Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, Ranchos Penitas West, Orvil,
    Unitec Industrial Park, Doctors Hospital Of Laredo, Laredo
    Country Club, Botines, Texas A&M, Laredo International
    Airport, Laredo Community College, St Augustine High School
    South Laredo, Columbia Bridge, United South High School and
    Las Tiendas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
