For the Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 118 expected. * WHERE...Duval, Inland Kleberg, Inland Nueces, Jim Wells, La Salle, McMullen, and Webb Counties. * WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 10 AM CDT Friday. For the Excessive Heat Warning, from 10 AM Friday to 7 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Hot conditions overnight will not allow bodies to sufficiently recover from daytime heat, further increasing the likelihood of heat related illness.
