...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WEBB COUNTY THROUGH
1130 PM CDT...

At 1100 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Ranchitos Las Lomas to United South High
School. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Laredo, Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, Texas A&M, Laredo International
Airport, Ranchitos Las Lomas, St Augustine High School South Laredo,
Laredo Community College, and United South High School.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 1 and 2.
 US Highway 59 between mile markers 798 and 824.
 US Highway 83 between mile markers 718 and 730.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central Texas.
