...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL WEBB COUNTY
THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1028 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
United South High School, or near Laredo. This thunderstorm was
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Laredo, Rio Bravo, Texas A&M, Laredo International Airport, St
Augustine High School South Laredo, Doctors Hospital Of Laredo,
Laredo Country Club, Laredo Community College, Orvil, United South
High School, and Ranchitos Las Lomas.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 1 and 12.
 US Highway 59 between mile markers 810 and 824.
 US Highway 83 between mile markers 718 and 728.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central Texas.
