The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Webb County in south central Texas...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 826 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 miles northeast of Chupadera Ranch Airport to 19
  miles northwest of Columbia Bridge to 34 miles west of Ranchos
  Penitas West, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Chupadera Ranch Airport, Las Tiendas, Columbia Bridge, La Esperanza
  Ranch Airport, and Ranchos Penitas West.

This includes US Highway 83 between mile markers 668 and 688.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
