Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
544 AM EDT Wed May 22 2024

Summerlike warmth and humidity will peak across the Keystone
State today with high temperatures in the 80 to 90 degree range.
These values are 10 to 15 degrees above the historical average
for late May.

The summertime heat and noticeably higher humidity will fuel a
marginal to slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and
evening. Isolated strong to locally damaging wind gusts are the
primary threat focused to the west of the Interstate 81 corridor.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue into Thursday especially
across the southern tier of the Commonwealth. Rain chances trend
lower into Friday before increasing over Memorial Day weekend.
