Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
1121 AM EDT Sat May 18 2024

The weekend will start out cloudy and rather soggy, especially
across southeastern Pennsylvania where more widespread and
briefly heavy showers will occur today.

Showers will diminish in coverage tonight, but plenty of
clouds will linger. Any breaks in the cloud cover after midnight
will lead to locally dense fog.

High temperatures today will range from around 60 across the
ridge tops of central and southern Pennsylvania to the mid 70s
across the western quarter of the state away from Lake Erie. Lows
tonight will be mainly in the mid 50s. High temperatures will
rebound into the mid and upper 70s on Sunday.

Although conditions will gradually dry out with some breaks
of sunshine on Sunday, there will still be a few stray and
generally brief showers roaming the region in the afternoon.
Dry and warmer conditions will follow for Monday and Tuesday when
highs will reach the upper 70s to mid 80s.
