Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
453 PM EDT Tue May 21 2024

Summerlike warmth and humidity will remain over the Keystone
State through tomorrow. High temperatures in the 80s to lower 90s
are again anticipated Wednesday afternoon, which is about 15
degrees above average for late May.

The building warmth and noticeably higher humidity will fuel a
marginal to slight risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday
afternoon and evening. Isolated strong to locally damaging wind
gusts are the primary threat focused across the northwestern half
of the Commonwealth. Showers and thunderstorms will continue into
Thursday, with a marginal severe weather threat shifting into far
southeastern Pennsylvania.

Temperatures and humidity levels will trend lower into the
holiday weekend. While not expected to be a washout, the
precipitation pattern will remain somewhat unsettled, with at
least a chance of rain in most places through Memorial Day.
