Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
1115 PM EDT Tue May 28 2024

Most of the Commonwealth will be dry overnight. But, showers and a
few thunderstorms will move back into the west just before
sunrise. Low temperatures will generally be in the 50s.

The showers and storms will become more numerous as they move
across the entire state through the day on Wednesday. Most places
will get wet. The last few showers will move off to the east
during the evening as a cold front passes. Highs will be in the
mid 60s in the mountains to mid 70s in the urban areas of the
southeast.

High pressure then arrives and keeps it dry until at least Sunday.
Temperatures will be below normal to close out the month of May.
However, the bout of autumn-like temperatures won`t last long
with a nice warmup over the weekend into early next week to begin
the month of June.
