...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN HUNTINGDON COUNTY
THROUGH 245 PM EDT...
At 213 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Huntingdon, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Huntingdon, Petersburg, Alexandria, and Juniata College.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
