NORTHWESTERN JUNIATA AND CENTRAL PERRY COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM EDT...
At 616 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lewistown, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mcalisterville, Spruce Hill, Mexico, Walnut, Ickesburg, Mifflintown,
Port Royal, Thompsontown, Mifflin, and East Salem.
