...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM EDT
FOR SOMERSET COUNTY...

At 834 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Ursina to Westernport, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Somerset, Meyersdale, Berlin, Friedens, Acosta, Ursina, New
Centerville, Mount Davis, Rockwood, Confluence, Salisbury, and
Garrett.

This includes The Pennsylvania Turnpike from mile markers 100 to 121.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
