Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
125 PM MDT Thu May 30 2024

.DISCUSSION...
All fuels across southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle are now in
greenup...so fire weather concerns will be minimal the next few days.
A nice afternoon ongoing with mostly sunny skies and light winds
under surface high pressure. There is a chance of evening thunderstorms
tonight across the Nebraska Panhandle as moisture from the south rides
north on a low level jet. Chances for afternoon and evening showers
and storms continue through the weekend...mainly east of the Laramie
Range. Warmer and drier next week as upper level high pressure builds
into the area. May be dealing with very low humidity during the afternoon
each day next week with these warmer temperatures and dry weather.
