Sunday will be the most active day with chances for some afternoon thunderstorms to develop around the fire area Main window for thunderstorm activity will be between 2-6pm. Prior to thunderstorm initiation on Sunday the area will see gusty northwest winds sustained around 25 mph with gusts approaching 35 mph at times. Winds in and around thunderstorm cores could be strong and erratic. There is also the additional threat for some cloud-to- ground lightning strikes. Heading into Sunday night and into Monday the weather conditions will improve with little to no chances for thunderstorm activity and decreasing wind speeds. With recent rains around the area, expecting the minimum relative humidity to remain above 20 percent Monday afternoon. .SUNDAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (20-30 percent).
