...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN PAWNEE AND SOUTHEASTERN RUSH COUNTIES...

At 631 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pawnee Rock, or
10 miles south of Shaffer, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Pawnee and southeastern Rush Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
Kansas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
central Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
