.DISCUSSION...
Today will be a sunny day to begin, with high clouds moving in
through the afternoon. South winds increase into the afternoon,
with sustained winds 10 to 15 mph and gusts around 20 mph possible
after 1pm. With the increase in winds, mixing will improve as
well, up to near 5000 feet this afternoon, with excellent smoke
dispersal. Precipitation is not expected today, but some showers
and thunderstorms are expected to move across the area overnight,
beginning around midnight. Up to a quarter inch of rain is
possible by tomorrow morning.
