Search site and General Ely Forecast - Early morning temperatures around 34-37F may have created a light coating of frost on items and vegetation. Temperatures will warm into the low 60s F this afternoon around the event site, with lighter north to northwest winds from 6-8 mph. There is a 20% chance of rain showers after 2100 LT this evening and continue overnight. More widepsread rain with embedded thunder is expected to move in for Friday. Ely Visibility and Ceilings - Visibility greater than 6 statute miles is expected to prevail today and tonight. Early morning ceilings around 1200 feet should lift to scattered 2400 foot cloud bases by mid morning, with conditions remaining VFR then for the rest of today and early this evening. Conditions will deteriorate again later this evening as rain chances spread back into the area from the west, and remain poor for most of Friday.
