.DISCUSSION...

Search site and General Ely Forecast -

A cold front will move into the area tonight and stall in the
region into Friday night. Showers and a few thunderstorms will
move into the area by or shortly after 10 pm. Thunderstorms will
be isolated and should occur mainly late evening into the early
morning hours. Most of Friday should be dry, although if the front
stalls further west than expected, some afternoon
showers/thunderstorms may occur. The gusty south to southwest
winds will decrease later tonight but continue to be southwest on
Friday.

Ely Visibility and Ceilings -

VFR conditions this evening will lower to MVFR (with a brief
period of IFR) late tonight then improve back to VFR between 9
and 11 AM Friday. There may be some low level wind shear late
evening into the early morning hours as well.

                    mostly cloudy (65-75 percent). Chance of rain
                    showers in the evening, then rain showers and
                    slight chance of thunderstorms overnight.
