.DISCUSSION...
Search site and General Ely Forecast -

A line of scattered showers are currently located southeast of the
Ely Airport, with the axis of precipitation oriented from Skibo
to the Lake Insula. These showers wil continue to be possible
through the evening until around 1100 PM for both the Ely Airport
and search area. While lightning was observed earlier this
afternoon near Skibo, the potential for lightning occurring near
or at the Ely airport this evening is low (15% chance). Lightning
is not expected near the search area at this time.

Southeast winds this evening behind a lake breeze will be shifting
to the north tonight into early Monday morning with patchy dense
fog occurring. Additional rain showers will be moving into the
Arrowhead tomorrow afternoon, with an isolated thunderstorm
possible in the late afternoon.

Ely Visibility and Ceilings -

VFR ceilings are expected this evening into early tonight. Patchy
dense fog in the vicinity of KELO may result in IFR to LIFR
visibility late tonight into early Monday morning. LIFR ceilings
are expected to accompany any dense fog that develops. Once fog
dissipates in the mid morning hours tomorrow, VFR conditions will
return. Scattered showers will arrive in the afternoon tomorrow.
An isolated thunderstorm may be possible, but the potential is low
(less than 10% chance).
