.DISCUSSION...

Clouds and rain showers will linger over the area this morning,
with ceilings remaining below a thousand feet through early
afternoon, then slowly improving into this evening. Visibilities
should remain at or above 6sm today through tonight. Winds will be
gusty today, with the strongest winds for late morning through
the afternoon, then decreasing this evening.

Many area rivers and streams are already running high this
morning after the 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain that fell over the
last 36 hours. Rivers should rise for at least the next few days.

Sky/weather.........Cloudy (90-100 percent). Chance of rain showers
                    early in the morning, then rain showers likely
                    late in the morning. Chance of rain showers
                    in the afternoon.
Chance of pcpn......70 percent.
Chance of thunder...12 percent.

                    mph.
