...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING IN THE
ARROWHEAD OF NORTHEAST MINNESOTA...

* WHAT...East winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph in the
  Arrowhead of northeast Minnesota.

* WHERE...Central and North St. Louis, Cook and Lake Counties. This
  includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation and the
  Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion and, Nett Lake areas. Recreation
  spots such as Voyageurs National Park. The entire Boundary Waters
  is also included.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain showers this afternoon to early evening
  create a 20 percent chance of mixing down even stronger winds
  locally gusting to 55 mph today.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

OF NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND THE CITY OF DULUTH...

* WHAT...East to southeast winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45
  mph for parts of north-central and northeast Minnesota and the
  City of Duluth.

* WHERE...Northern Aitkin, North Cass, Itasca, Carlton and South St.
  Louis Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bois Forte
  Band, Deer Creek area, the Mille Lacs Band, Big Sandy Lake area
  and the Fond du Lac Band.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain showers this morning through mid
  afternoon create a 20 percent chance of mixing down even stronger
