...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL CASS COUNTY THROUGH
245 PM CDT...

At 228 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hackensack, or 13 miles south of Walker, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Walker, Hackensack, Backus, Woman Lake, Leech Lake, Ten Mile Lake,
Whipholt, Pheasant Lake, Webb Lake, and Big Portage Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
north central Minnesota.
