...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN IRON AND WEST
CENTRAL ASHLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...
At 607 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Odanah, or 27 miles west of Ironwood, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Saxon, Gurney, Odanah, Bad River Reservation, Marble Point, New
Odanah, Saxon Harbor, Cedar, Franks Field, and Birch Hill.
