...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL AITKIN COUNTY
THROUGH 930 PM CDT...

At 912 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
McGregor, or 13 miles southwest of Big Sandy Lake, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
McGregor, Tamarack, Mille Lacs Band East Lake Area, and Kimberly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
