...FLOOD WARNING IS CANCELLED...

The Flood Warning is cancelled for portions of central, north
central, and northeast Iowa, including the following counties, in
central Iowa, Grundy, Hardin, Jasper, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek,
Story and Tama. In north central Iowa, Franklin. In northeast Iowa,
Black Hawk and Bremer.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Iowa, including the following
  county, Butler.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to
  excess runoff from earlier rainfall. It will take several hours
  for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage
  systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 852 AM CDT, Emergency management reported that flooding
    continues across the warned area. Several roads remain closed
    due to water over the roads.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
