...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast Iowa,
  including the following counties, in central Iowa, Grundy, Hardin,
  Jasper, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Story and Tama. In north
  central Iowa, Butler and Franklin. In northeast Iowa, Black Hawk
  and Bremer.

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations continues across portions of the warned
  area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 207 PM CDT, Emergency management reported ongoing flooding
    across the warned area. Between 5 and 6 inches of rain have
    fallen. Emergency management also reports several roads
    closed due to flooding in the warned area including local,
    county and state roads. Flooding of homes and other buildings
    has been reported in a few locations as well.

weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
