...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

  Des Moines River at Des Moines SE 6th St affecting Polk County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49 affecting Tama County.

  Cedar River at Cedar Falls affecting Black Hawk County.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County.

...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River near Stratford affecting Hamilton, Webster and
  Boone Counties.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Humboldt and
  Kossuth Counties.

.Further analysis of observed rainfall trends have led to decreases
in the forecasts for parts of the Des Moines River basin above
Saylorville Lake. Below Saylorville Lake and Lake Red Rock, changes
to outflow plans by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at both
locations has led to adjustments at some locations as well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

  Parkway to Bell Ave. George Flagg Parkway is closed from SW 30th
  St to SW 28th St.

  - At 12:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.5
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
    tomorrow evening.
