This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Widespread thunderstorm chances return after midnight tonight
into Friday morning. An enhanced risk of severe storms exists
across west central Iowa with a surrounding slight risk across
central Iowa. Large hail, damaging thunderstorm winds, and a few
tornadoes are possible. Locally heavy rainfall from a few of the
storms may lead to localized renewed ponding of water or local
runoff.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Other chances for storms are in the forecast for Saturday night
into Sunday and Monday. There is a small risk of strong to severe
storms Saturday night into Sunday morning over the south.

Spotters may be needed briefly after midnight into early Friday.
