Early this morning it is cooler than yesterday with readings in the lower to mid 40s north while the south is in the lower to mid 50s. Some patchy fog has developed over the southwest where upper 40s are more common. This afternoon clouds will increase over the area with afternoon highs in the mid 70s north to the upper 70s south. Southeast winds of 10 to 20 mph will increase over most of the region with some southwest winds in the far Northwest will gust to 25 mph. Tonight and beyond: An approaching storm from Wyoming will begin to spread showers and thunderstorms back into the state from the west and southwest over most of the region by Sunday morning. Though the risk of severe weather is low, there may be a few stronger storms overnight tonight and into early Sunday morning. A few areas may see up to an inch or so of rainfall as well. Lows tonight will drop to the lower 50s northeast and around 60 in the south. Scattered showers and some thunderstorms will redevelop Sunday afternoon. Monday afternoon a weak cool front from Minnesota will being scattered showers and storms to the area before drier weather returns Monday night and Tuesday. Seasonal temperatures in the 60s and 70s are expected through midweek next week. Dry weather will return to the region by later Tuesday into Wednesday, continuing into Thursday. Generally near normal to slightly above normal temperatures are anticipated through Thursday. $$ REV
