Today:

Mostly clear skies and light northwest winds made for lows in the 50s
overnight. Clouds will continue to move in from the north this
morning, bringing with them scattered showers and thunderstorms for
the north and east.

Shower and storm chances will focus in the east and southeast this
afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s south and 60s north. Winds will be
out of the northwest between 10 and 15 mph.

Tonight and beyond:

A desirable pattern of dry weather will take hold for only a couple
of days. Wednesday and Thursday will feature no rain with highs in the
70s. Rain returns Thursday night with on and off chances of rain
through the weekend. Thunderstorms look more probable over the
weekend. Weekend highs will rise into the 80s.
