THROUGH 330 AM CDT...

At 234 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles west of Conrad to near Newton to near
Oskaloosa. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail and rainfall of a
         half inch to one inch.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Ponding of water on roadways, low visibilities,
         and rises in small streams and creeks.

Locations impacted include...
Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Marshalltown, Newton, Oskaloosa, Pella,
Waverly, Grinnell, Eldora, Grundy Center, Toledo, Montezuma, Allison,
Evansdale, Tama, Jesup, La Porte City, Hudson, Sumner, and
Parkersburg.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 between mile markers 161 and 204.
 Interstate 380 between mile markers 56 and 73.
