FOR NORTHWESTERN POWESHIEK AND SOUTHWESTERN TAMA COUNTIES...
At 314 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast of
Grinnell, moving southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Grinnell, Brooklyn, Holiday Lake, and Malcom.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 188 and 195.
