...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN POWESHIEK...SOUTHEASTERN MARSHALL...TAMA AND
NORTHEASTERN JASPER COUNTIES...

At 551 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Clutier to near Chelsea, moving northeast at 60
mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Toledo, Tama, Traer, Dysart, Meskwaki Casino, Rock Creek Lake, Le
Grand, Garwin, Gilman, Chelsea, Montour, Clutier, Elberon, Ferguson,
Vining, Tf Clark State Park, Toledo Municipal Airport, and Rock Creek
State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for central and
northeastern Iowa.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
